MultaRadar, which is also known as MRCD, MRCT or photo radar, uses the K band, but instead of remaining on one frequency as in the examples above, it sweeps up and down the frequencies within a given range.

The ALP is one of the most effective laser jammers ever produced and has been very popular with the online community for years. Since the pace of new firmware appearing is fast-and-furious from the police laser gun manufacturers, it is getting increasingly difficult for all the laser jammer companies to keep up with the changes.
At least today, all of the viable jammers today can have their firmware updated and this includes the ALP. When a new police laser algorithm is discovered the jammer manufacturers are able to provide their existing customers an update. This does require the owner of a jammer to routinely check for firmware updates or suffer the consequences.
That being said, even firmware updates have their limitations. Some police lasers are requiring that the jammer manufacturers make substantial hardware improvements ie; CPU changes and that has proven very challenging to the manufacturers. It remains a solid choice. While the ALP is very popular online and on the forums—as they have affiliate marketing programs to compensate promoters and while it is a solid laser jammer, we have found their customer support to be lacking, relative to TMG, which offers higher performance at a much more reasonable price.
If you are a motorcycle rider concerned about getting speeding tickets, you likely already know about the Adaptiv brand line of motorcycle-focused products. This is no longer the case, as Adaptiv has recently introduced a dedicated motorcycle laser jammer which is proving very effective even against some of the most advanced variable pulse rate police lasers, like the DragonEye compact. Typically laser jammers come with two heads since a car has a larger reflective profile than a motorcycle. But since a motorcycle is so much smaller than a car with lower levels of reflection naturally, you only need one head to protect you in the front and hence this is how the Adaptive TPX laser jammer is packaged.
